In pledging yourself to Zeta Psi, you become a member of an International
Organization and assume the responsibilities of membership. As your first
obligation to Zeta, it is your duty to dedicate your membership, time, creative
energy, and loyalty to help build and shape a constantly changing and growing
organization. By fulfilling these responsibilities, you will be rewarded as you
grow and realize the full potential of the college experience.
Zeta Tau Alpha offers each member the opportunity to develop to her fullest
potential while maintaining a balance between academic, leadership, community
service, and social endeavors. The motto of Zeta Tau Alpha, "Seek the
Noblest," can be seen through leadership positions held by Zetas in many
of Jacksonville State University's campus organizations. Our campus involvement
includes such organizations as:
- Gamecock Orientation "GO!" Leaders
- JSU Ambassadors
- JSU Panhellenic Council
- JSU Tour Guides
- Peer Educators
- SGA Officers
- JSU Cheerleaders
- Resident Housing Association
- Mimosa Yearbook Staff
- Chanticleer Newspaper Staff
- Marching Southerners
- and many more!
Participating in
community service projects and raising money for Breast Cancer Research and Awareness
is also an important part of being a Zeta Tau Alpha. Social functions provide
another way to spend time with our sisters. These events include themed mixers
and date parties, movie nights, and slumber parties in our suite.
Most importantly, however, membership in
Zeta Tau Alpha brings something new and
wonderful to our lives - friends whom we can call sisters and friends who will
last a lifetime. ZTA membership provides a group of women who will celebrate
your victories, share your sorrows, encourage you to do better, and support you
in all your endeavors. The joy Zeta membership brings will remain constant over
the course of your life. Zeta sisters are steady, lifelong companions. Zeta Tau
Alpha truly is forever! Now it is time to let the journey begin and allow
yourself to be welcomed by over 155,000 members worldwide into our special bond
of sisterhood.
